Weekly Pay | Full-Time Hours | Immediate Openings Diverse Staffing is hiring experienced Press Operators for a busy printing manufacturing facility in Atlanta, GA. This opportunity offers steady first-shift hours, weekly pay, and the potential for long-term employment.
We are looking for dependable team members who can work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while helping keep production operations running smoothly and on schedule.
Job Duties - Operate various types of printing machines and Flexo press equipment
- Review work orders and client specifications to understand print job requirements
- Determine quantities and production requirements for each job
- Align, configure, and set up printing machinery
- Stage materials and tooling for efficient workflow
- Run press equipment and complete production jobs efficiently
- Inspect production samples to ensure print quality standards are met
- Assist with quality control activities in the pressroom
- Troubleshoot printing machine issues and perform basic repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
- Complete daily production reports and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around production equipment
- Assist with additional production or maintenance duties as assigned
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with Mark Andy printing equipment is required
- Ability to operate or quickly learn various printing machines
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Punctual and dependable work history
- Narrow web printing industry experience preferred
- Vocational or technical training preferred
- Previous related manufacturing experience preferred
Physical Requirements - Physically able to operate printing machinery throughout the shift
- Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to safely work around moving equipment and machinery
- Maintain productivity standards throughout the workday
